INSPECT and CLEAN all nautical equipment BEFORE and AFTER each use, FAR FROM THE WATER.

  1. INSPECT anything that comes in contact with water to remove plants, visible debris and mud from the equipment used.
  2. EMPTY the water that has accumulated in the craft, fish tanks, engine, hold, coolers, etc.
  3. CLEAN the boat and all equipment with a pressure washer to dislodge all organisms without damaging the boat or equipment OR dry for at least five days.
  4. REPEAT these steps with each use
